When I first started playing softball, I was like 12 years old when I had played out at Woodlawn. My coach's name was Coach Lamont. He also had a daughter who had played softball as well. When I first came to Northwestern High, I was really shy back then but now, you can't say nothing about me. When Coach Blum ask me did I play any sports , and I said yes I've have and she asked me what sport was it and I had said softball. She ask me was I really good at this and I said yes, matter of fact I was the best player on the team and there's was nothing else to say. So coach blum ask me how about you play softball for the school. And I said yes I would love to play for Northwestern. The first couple of games I hit so many home runs that all the girls had to run out to get the ball. That's when everybody called me a man cause I hit the ball just like a man hit the ball while playing baseball.
